Wells Cathedral School Digital Archives

Our archives tell the story of our 1,100 year old School and conserve the precious memories that are the foundation of the lifelong fellowship of Old Wellensians. We have a large collection of documents and images going back to 1213 and continue to add to these today – which is why we call our collection our Living Archive.

On this site you can view, via a logon, a selection from our Archive of team, house and whole school photographs from 1920 – 2019. These are presented to launch our new app WhoZatFace which we are developing in partnership with leading archive specialist SDS Group. The app enables us to invite OWs and friends of the School to add names confidentially to faces in older photos. These names can then be preserved for evermore rather than be lost as generations slip away.
